Nick Pesce’s layup with one minute remaining gave Thomaston the lead for good as the Golden Bears came from behind to defeat Wamogo on the road, 49-47, Thursday night in Berkshire League action. The Golden Bears, who qualified for the state tournament with an 8-9 record, trailed 45-39 in the fourth quarter, but went on a 10-2 run. Eric April led Thomaston with 17 points, while Brett Cody finished with 14. Nick Russo added eight points and Pesce scored six. Mike Odenwaelder had a game-high 23 points, along with 10 rebounds and seven assists, for the Warriors (9-8). Steve Celadon scored 12 points and Spencer Albano chipped in with 12.
